Everything was so clean! The shower had great pressure. Staff is very friendly. If I had to pick one thing I didn't like it would be that the bed was kind of hot. I don't know if it's the material of the sheets or the mattress protector I'm not sure, but I had such a hard time falling asleep because I was hot. But they do have a ceiling fan which I'm sure would have helped but I was traveling with my sister who is always cold. Another thing I didn't like is that there isn't a top lock only the bottom lock on the door. But to me it seems like a safe location. I would definitely stay here again because it was so affordable and close to the hospital where my sister has her appointments.

The room was modern, bright, really clean with fresh decor, furnishings, carpet, bedding and curtains. A small, serviceable kitchen area with sink, microwave and fridge was included. The breakfast was a pretty standard continental affair but adequate. The staff were friendly and on the morning we left the lady on reception was extremely helpful by letting use the phone to make a call to reserve a museum appointment. Thank you!

It was an older property and showed its age in places but was spotlessly clean. The housekeeping staff clearly took pride in keeping it that way. Its location was central for hospitals and university and within easy reach of everything else. Parking was convenient with some covered parking which would have been a real bonus if bad weather was forecast. The beds were comfy and maybe over time the full size beds will be replaced with queens. Huge section of cable options on TV.

I stayed almost 2 weeks there as I was relocating due to a divorce. Off the main path, so I was able to avoid any papers being served. I used the washer/dryer there. I used the covered parking, especially nice during a summer hailstorm. Lacking in vending machines for a larger variety of drinks and snacks for cravings. Only a single machine and it didn’t have a working card reader. Good place, comfortable beds, quiet. Five stars

The Guest House Inn is an older motel which may not satisfy every traveler, but it was perfect for us. It is owned by a family that was very friendly and accommodating. The room rate was very good. The room was not fancy but it had everything we needed. It had two queen beds, a TV, Wi-fi, a microwave, and a fridge. The room was very clean and very quiet. It is located on a side street, so there was no noise. It is only 5 minutes from UMC and is close to a variety of dining options. We actually ended up staying another night because we were totally satisfied with our room. They do offer a medical discount if you ask.

The staff are so kind and helpful. The property is in a great location to both UMC and Covant Hospital. Very quiet, no loud noise and they keep it clean and do not put up with people acting up. It's an older hotel, but clean and great for the price, comfy beds, ceiling fans in each room above beds and good AC.

The stay overall was excellent and I enjoyed myself. My mom who is rarely pleased complimented how much she liked the room. The bed was very comfortable and got great sleep. The room was also clean and did not see one bug like other places. The staff was very helpful and friendly. This is my second time to Lubbock and should of stayed here the first time I came. I also love that I was very close to where my daughter was since I was visiting her. I would definitely stay here again. I just have one small complaint that the common areas need to smell more fresh. It is like there is a smell. Otherwise, I loved my stay.

The property is conveniently located with access to several excellent dining options. It's also quiet during both the day and the night. It seems to have been recently renovated, and while the age still shows in places, it was clean and seemed well maintained. The room was large and with plenty of storage. The owners were friendly and welcoming.

The staff was very nice and friendly. The handicapped room had a shower/tub that was equipped with handrails and there was also a shower bench you could put in the tub. Kind of hard to lift my legs over the top rim of the tub. The room was okay although it could use some TLC. The bed was fresh and clean and looked really comfortable but the mattress must be older because it sunk in the middle and stayed that way. It didn't bounce back when I got out.
